The elephant has somehow become a particularly symbolic animal in my artistic production. It always appears in an imposing and positive way.
In the works Totem I and Totem II I wanted to pay homage to it by highlighting the importance it has in my painting, represented through stain and abstraction but perfectly recognisable, as a sacred protector.
