'Lugar de posibilidades' (Place of Possibilities) is conceived as a quest in which, through color and texture, the artist seeks to capture the essence, from a personal and expressive perspective, of diverse subjects from the natural and human worlds.

Based on the idea that reality is unique and non-transferable to each mind that perceives it, María seeks to present an emotional experience in each of her paintings, offering the viewer a one-of-a-kind vision of them that does not exist in the objective world. Each subject featured in the paintings is energetically heightened, breaking down a figurative work that gradually blurs into abstraction, with details rendered through independent brushstrokes, employing an expressionist gesture and drawing inspiration from the impression. The personal connection established with the works gives rise to countless interpretations, each as unique as the mind that conceives them. Movement, emotion, and expression are the foundations of each painting, whose soul is laid bare, creating an undefined, open, and sentimental space in which reality is as personal as it is infinite. A place for possibilities.
