Explore the creative possibilities of contemporary portraiture from a different perspective: learn to look beyond the face and express emotion through texture, brushstrokes, and abstraction. In this workshop, we will paint a female portrait from a unique perspective, in which we do not pursue perfection or realism, but rather seek harmony in what appears to be chaos, discover the possibilities of creation in mistakes, and navigate through doubts to see where they take us. In a delicate balance between figuration and abstraction, we will seek to bring out the inner power of the subject in a direct and expressive way, guided by intuition and giving free rein to our own visual language. Our goal is emotion. The workshop is structured over 4 hours (from 10 to 14 pm) in the following phases: - Transferring the reference to the panel. - Study of values and colors to be applied. - Creation of your own portrait. The technique we will use is water-mixable oil paint. All the materials you will need are included, although I encourage you to bring your own tools and brushes if you want to further expand your range of creative possibilities. At the end of the workshop, you can take your painting home with you. Places are limited to 5 studens.
Cancellation Policy
Each workshop requires a lot of preparation: materials, planning, working hours, and a limited number of places. That is why it is important to establish a clear cancellation policy so that the course can run as smoothly as possible for everyone: Cancellations must always be requested in writing. If you need to cancel your reservation at least 14 days in advance, you will receive a 70% refund of the workshop fee. No refunds will be made within 14 days of the workshop. At that stage, the materials have been purchased, the places reserved, and the planning finalized, so it is not possible to refund the registration fee. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the entire workshop is canceled or modified, you will be notified as soon as possible and 100% of the amount paid will be refunded. By registering for the workshop, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Thank you for your understanding and for appreciating the work that goes into each artistic experience we prepare.
