This painting began as a simple study, an exercise in which I intended only to explore strokes and styles. However, I liked the final result so much that I ended up considering it as a final work, I included it in the solo exhibition I was working on and, not only that, but I created a whole series on this theme.
 
Ácrono is the story about what belongs neither to the present nor to the past. An abandoned vehicle, old and worn out, barely perceptible by the abstract brushstrokes that place it in a surreal, undefined atmosphere, which becomes a symbol of memory. Who or what has it transported? Why has it been stranded in the middle of nowhere? It only remains as an echo of people and stories that are no longer there.
 
This painting reflects on an acronymic place and space, where time has lost its meaning. Now, only the essence and many questions that we will never know the answer to remain.
