'Gaia' I and II are paintings that are born from a technical experiment, in which I first created an abstract chromatic background on the canvas and, based on it, I then went on, little by little, composing and bringing out the figure.
 
This process allowed me to create a very fragmented and evocative image that the viewer's mind ends up building to give it meaning.
 
On a representational level, the only objective was to create a subject that made reference to the animal world, understanding nature as the superior being that we should really revere.
