One of the rare occasions when I painted a male portrait.
Unlike the female ones, in this case the gaze appears and not the mouth. The rest is a total abstraction.
The intention is to represent the essence of the person from the outside. Both the color and the big abstraction stains intend to bring the interior to the exterior and offer an introspective look that is exposed to the observer.
