This artwork is born as the large format version of the Karma series. Again, the painting does not portray a body, but a decision. The action that can lead to various results. The energy set in motion that will return in one way or another. It is a gesture of surrender that bets everything on a choice, because as human beings we can only choose one path at a time, and each of those choices conditions our entire future.
 
I have wondered about why these figures have appeared so blue. I don't have the definitive answer. But perhaps it is the expression of an undefined context, of not knowing if we are in the air or in the water, but in a space of fusion of both elements. Of not knowing if it is flying or floating. It may be the exact place where time freezes, the exact instant that defines everything before the irremediable outcome, either towards a fall, or perhaps towards a conquest.
