The Karma series is one of those that were predestined to be. It was born from a session with natural models made in my studio. I was looking for bodies that expressed themselves through drama, dynamism and movement. I had glimpsed the idea in a matter of seconds and the technique I would use to express the narrative, the use of light and shadow, color and effects spontaneously emerged in my mind.
 
They are very organic paintings in which the bodies, in tension, blur and revive at times, associated with the idea of energy that comes and goes and keeps us connected to the rest of the environment. Sometimes for good, sometimes for bad. Since contradiction, rights and wrongs are part of our human condition, this series echoes the nature of that existence, the forces that counteract each other and the becoming of everything that the universe returns to us from our actions and thoughts.
